What is Your Commitment Level?

Day 12
Prov.4:25-26 (KJV

Commitment is about being all-in or being fully invested to a cause while trusting God and remaining faithful. Are you fully dedicated to your relationship and to God? Your commitment level reflects how much you are putting into the relationship to make it work spiritually, emotionally, financially, and physically.

The story of Ezra in the Bible exemplifies unwavering commitment to a cause. Ezra set his heart to study, obey, and teach God’s word. As stated in Ezra 7:10 (ESV), "For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel."

His dedication to his faith and community inspired others to follow God’s laws. He became known as a skilled scribe and priest, with God's favour upon him: "this Ezra went up from Babylonia. He was a scribe skilled in the Law of Moses that the Lord, the God of Israel, had given, and the king granted him all that he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him" (Ezra 7:6 ESV).

Reflect on Your Commitment

Are you fully committed to your marriage? Is your marriage a shining example that others would want to follow? When we are fully committed to our partner in marriage, we enjoy the blessings of a blissful home.

By assessing and enhancing your commitment, you can build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship with your spouse and with God. ‘’Commit your way unto the Lord, trust Him and He will act…’’ Psalm 37:3(ESV)
